The
SeaDream Experience
|
| |
Just
think of us as a shrewd investment in the good
life
Let’s
face it! Some vacations at sea can be boring.
But a holiday with SeaDream Yacht Club is
something new. Unstructured! Unexpected! A
casual, free-form holiday with plenty of room
for personal choice.
SeaDream
is for the luxury clients who want a cruise
experience that mirrors the casual ambiance of
private yachts. In this laid-back atmosphere,
everything is available and on a very open
schedule. It is for the kind of person who wants
their private yacht, but not a hassle of
maintenance.
SeaDream
II, with 55 cabins and a passenger capacity of
110 now features entirely new top deck, complete
with outdoor bar and a series of sunbeds near
the stern. The cabin area for the captain and
officers, located under the bridge, has been
turned into an expanded spa, complete with
Thalasso Therapy tub, and a fitness center. All
cabins have been renovated with state of the art
electronics, including flat-screen TV's, DVD and
CD players. SeaDream I completed an identical
refurbuishment in May.
We are not a cruise line. Quite simply, yachting
is different from cruising. Yachting has an open
casual ambience. Cruising does not. Yachting
provides guests the ability to fulfill their
dreams at their own pace without having to stick
to a rigid fixed schedule. With yachting it’s
no clocks, no crowds, no lines, no stress.
Our
twin mega yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II
offer seven-day Caribbean and Mediterranean
sailings. The elegant twins call at smaller
yacht ports. There’s lots of water sports
activity. “Water Toys” including wave
runners, kayaks, snorkel gear, Sunfish and
Zodiacs for water skiing. If you feel lazy you
can snooze on deck in private Balinese sun
beds---designed for two. Fun under the sun or
indoors. And dining with SeaDream is superb
whether you are in our main Dining Salon or up
on deck in our Topside Restaurant. In short, the
SeaDream twins offer guests the ultimate in the
elegant, but, oh so casual yachting lifestyle.
An intimate, friendly, comfortable, romantic
yachting experience where you can always expect
the unexpected.

The Caribbean
and the Mediterranean with time on your hands: Make the
most of it
In
the summer months SeaDream I and SeaDream II sail to
small, seldom-visited ports along the Mediterranean
coast. We call on the classic ports such as Nice, Monte
Carlo, Rome, Barcelona and so on, but we also stop at
smaller, seldom-visited islands, golden beaches and
azure bays like Portofino, Port Vendre and Portovenere.
Among our winter port calls in the Caribbean are St.
John, St. Croix, St. Martin, Virgin Gorda, St.
Barts and Jost van Dyke. But our Captains have the
option of taking guests to alternate ports-of-call for a
beach barbecue, a unique shoreside experience or to
another island to pick up some local seafood. We also
overnight in some key ports. Cruise ships (again we are
not a cruise line) usually arrive at ports of call in
the early morning and depart in the evening the same
day. SeaDream overnights at such ports as Monte Carlo
and St., Tropez in the Mediterranean and St. Barts in
the Caribbean. The action in these ports doesn’t even
get started until late in the evening. You wouldn’t
want to miss all the fun would
